Creating a plan is just the first step. PCPC, other city agencies, elected officials, and independent groups work together to make the plan a reality.  

To help put the plan into action, PCPC works on different projects. Staff work with City Council on zoning map changes. They apply for and administer grants for follow-up studies and plans. PCPC works with the Budget Office and city agencies to ensure that money spent supports the plan’s goals. And PCPC continues to advocate for the goals and recommendations in the plan.
